The Role

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will lead the full design and realization process of components and test setups for our innovative thermoacoustic heat pump. From concept to mass production, you ensure technical excellence, timely execution, and alignment with strategic goals.

You’ll develop and maintain clear roadmaps for components, coordinate with system owners and engineering teams, and ensure that designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability standards. You’ll also manage documentation, supplier coordination, and internal decision-making to keep projects on track.

This role involves advanced technical analysis, including FEA and CFD, and close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to integrate all contributions into a cohesive system design.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead component development from concept through to production
• Coordinate design roadmaps and align with stakeholders
• Perform and guide advanced analyses (FEA, CFD)
• Ensure timely decisions and maintain project momentum
• Manage documentation and quality standards
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality
• Oversee test and validation processes
• Manage project timelines, work packages, and milestones

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience leading component development from concept to production
• Strong background in system design, component interaction, and manufacturing constraints
• Experience with advanced analysis tools (FEM, CFD) and applying results to design improvements
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
