BlueHeart Energy was founded in 2016 as a deep-tech company that has developed a new sustainable thermoacoustics technology to radically improve the performance of heat pumps, enabling them to evolve from being the best solution in the market to becoming the perfect solution. Our technology is a disruptive approach to generate heat and cold, with potential to revolutionize the whole industry.

With our so called 'Blue Heart' inside, heat pumps turn into affordable, silent and flexible devices, capable of working with wide temperature ranges suitable for both new and existing houses. Importantly, BlueHeart doesn’t require any refrigerants and doesn’t generate any CO2e emissions.

About the Role

You will play a key role in scaling BlueHeart Energy’s revolutionary thermoacoustic technology from prototype to mass production. As our Supply Chain Engineer, you will develop and qualify suppliers, manage tooling CapEx, and ensure components are manufacturable, cost-effective, and delivered on time. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a fast-growing startup environment. 

What You’ll Do

• Source and qualify suppliers for critical components.

• Provide cost analysis and DfM input to support design decisions.

• Manage supplier tooling CapEx (RFQs, selection, contracts, acceptance)

• Lead negotiations on pricing, lead times, and terms to meet the targets.

• Build strong supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.

• Ensure compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements (e.g., REACH, RoHS).

• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to align on deliverables.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years in supply chain engineering, sourcing, or supplier development.

• Experience with supplier qualification and NPI readiness.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and DfM principles.

• Hands-on with cost breakdowns and fact-based negotiations.

• Proven experience managing supplier tooling CapEx.

• Startup mentality with strong ownership and communication skills.

• Bonus: Experience in clean tech or high-tech manufacturing.
